Everything Dinosaur would like to reassure customers in the European Union and the European Economic Area that the company has taken the necessary steps to comply with the new EU Product Identifier (PID) requirements that came into force on 1st November 2026.  The new EU product identifier rules are mandatory.  Mike and Sue have been busy ensuring that Everything Dinosaur is compliant.

The new regulations require additional product identification information to be included in customs documentation for certain goods being shipped into the European Union. These changes are designed to improve product traceability and help customs authorities process international parcels more efficiently.

Everything Dinosaur has been preparing for these changes since July 2026.

New EU Product Identifier Rules

Working closely with shipping partners and reviewing our product information, we have updated our procedures to ensure that the relevant Product Identifier information can be included in customs declarations.

Our team has devoted considerable time and resources to preparing for the new requirements, helping to minimise disruption to our European customers.  It has not been an easy task.  After all, we have thousands of different dinosaur and prehistoric animal models in stock.  Furthermore, we have been going further than the current mandatory obligations state. For example, we have been recording global trade identification numbers (GTINs) for products too.

Customers throughout the European Union can continue to shop with confidence at Everything Dinosaur. We remain committed to providing accurate customs documentation, reliable international shipping and the high standards of customer service that our customers have come to expect.
