Five New CollectA Models
Hadrosaurs are popular amongst model collectors. The CollectA Deluxe 1:60 scale Magnapaulia is the first model featured. It is a replica of one of the biggest, if not the biggest lambeosaurine hadrosaurs known to science.

Originally thought to represent a new species of Lambeosaurus, Magnapaulia was erected as a distinct genus and species in 2012 (Prieto-Márquez et al).
CollectA has a wonderful range of prehistoric animal figures. They have been praised for the huge variety of prehistoric animals that are represented. For example, the company recently introduced a replica of the giant phytosaur from India called Colossosuchus techniensis. This phytosaur figure features in our newsletter alongside the beautiful 1:40 scale CollectA Deluxe Lokiceratops.

The extensive range is epitomised by the other two models featured in the newsletter. Firstly, there is a 1:40 scale replica of the giant carcharodontosaurid from Patagonia – Meraxes gigas. This model has an articulated lower jaw. Furthermore, a prehistoric mammal is highlighted in the newsletter. The fifth model is the CollectA Deluxe Sivatherium. It is a fabulous replica of a prehistoric giraffe, perhaps the heaviest ruminant known to science.
