The DinoCon UK video celebrating this year’s hugely successful event in Birmingham has been released. The video was commissioned by the DinoCon UK organisers to showcase the talks, activities and attractions that made the second DinoCon such a memorable occasion.
Everything Dinosaur was delighted to be an active participant at the event. The conference brought together dinosaur enthusiasts, palaeontologists, artists, collectors and other members of the prehistoric animal community for a celebration of all things dinosaur. Sue from Everything Dinosaur features in the video twice.

It Takes a Team to Build a T. rex
Sue from Everything Dinosaur features in the video giving her presentation entitled “It Takes a Team to Build a T. rex”. Her talk explored the teamwork, expertise and collaboration involved in developing a scientifically accurate prehistoric animal figure (Everything Dinosaur Evolution).
The presentation provided an opportunity to highlight the many different skills required to take a dinosaur model from an initial concept through development and ultimately into production.

Celebrating DinoCon UK 2026
The specially commissioned video captures the enthusiasm and friendly atmosphere that characterised the conference. Appropriately, Sue also features towards the end of the film, commenting on the positive mood at the event.
She observed that everyone was walking around with a big smile on their face.
In addition, Sue added:
“DinoCon 2026 was so much fun! It was wonderful to be able to meet so many fans of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals. I even got to present at this year’s event. This was a huge honour for me.”
That comment perhaps sums up DinoCon perfectly. The second DinoCon UK brought people together through their shared enthusiasm for dinosaurs and palaeontology, and Everything Dinosaur was thrilled to have played a part in this special event.
