New Rebor Retrosaurus Models

By |2024-05-26T10:35:09+01:00May 21st, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur News and Updates, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Rebor has announced that the first wave of Retrosaurus dinosaur models is in production and due to be dispatched around the middle of June (2021). The first two models making up wave 1 are the Rebor 1:35 Vintage Palaeoart Tyrannosaurus rex “Mesozoic Rhapsody” Valley colour variant and the green-coloured Rebor 1:35 scale 80s T-REX Toy HD Remastered “Californiacation” VHS variant.

Changing Perceptions About the Dinosauria

These beautifully sculpted 1:35 scale figures represent dinosaurs as depicted in films that were made in the 1930s through to the late 1960s. Films such as King Kong (1933), One Million Years B.C. (1966) and the Valley of the Gwangi (1969), that inspired generations of Earth scientists.

Model Measurements

The models entitled Rebor 1:35 Vintage Palaeoart Tyrannosaurus rex “Mesozoic Rhapsody” Valley and Rebor 1:35 80s T-REX Toy HD Remastered “Californiacation” VHS measure 28 cm in length, are approximately 20 cm tall and about 14 cm wide. They give dinosaurs a retrospective look, that is, they reflect how dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex and Allosaurus were depicted in the past.

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented:

“Rebor have been keen to introduce a range of prehistoric animal figures that pay homage to the model designers and sculptors who animated dinosaurs and other long extinct creatures in iconic feature films that helped inspire a generation of palaeontologists. When compared to other figures that are available today, they demonstrate just how much our perceptions regarding the Dinosauria have changed.”

Visit the Everything Dinosaur website: Dinosaur Models and Figures.

Dinosaur Models with Articulated Jaws

The figures show the fine detailing that Rebor is famous for and given that their tails rest on the ground, these tail-dragging models will be very stable allowing them to be displayed on a variety of media. Perhaps dinosaur model fans could have a go at building their own dioramas reproducing scenes made famous by stop motion pioneers such as Ray Harryhausen and Willis O’Brien.

Available for Pre-order

Both models are available for pre-order from Everything Dinosaur from today (May 21st 2021) and a spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented that these models are expected to be in stock in late July (2021). They might come into stock sooner, but at this stage the spokesperson could not confirm a specific date.

Pick up a Rare Placerias

By |2024-05-26T10:08:03+01:00May 18th, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur News and Updates, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Everything Dinosaur has received lots of requests for a Placerias model, so our dedicated team members responded by making sure customers could pick up a Placerias if they wanted to. This large, Late Triassic dicynodont has remained popular ever since it appeared in the very first episode of the ground-breaking BBC television documentary “Walking with Dinosaurs” back in 1999. We have brought in a special batch of prehistoric animal figures to ensure that there are plenty of Placerias to go around.  We have tried our best to ensure collectors can pick up a Placerias prehistoric animal model.

An Inexpensive Prehistoric Animal Figure

The Placerias is available as part of a set of inexpensive prehistoric animal figures that we stock. However, we were receiving so many requests for this particular figure that stocks soon ran out. Team members have arranged to bring in a special production run of these prehistoric animals and this has permitted the model to be made available for sale as an individual item.

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented:

“This Placerias model is very similar to the dicynodonts that featured in the first ever episode of the BBC series “Walking with Dinosaurs”. The episode was called “New Blood” and depicted the faunal turnover that was taking place in the Late Triassic as the dinosaurs were beginning to be dominate terrestrial ecosystems. A herd of green-coloured Placerias, very similar to our Placerias model were slowly dying out as they could not adapt to dramatic climate change.”

A Very Expensive Television Series

At the time it was made the award-winning “Walking with Dinosaurs” television series was the most expensive project undertaken by the BBC in terms of the cost per minute of screen time. Placerias was depicted as a member of the Ghost Ranch biota of New Mexico. Terrestrial environments during the Late Permian had been dominated by the herbivorous Dicynodontia. Although severely depleted as a result of the End-Permian mass extinction, these therapsids survived throughout the Triassic before finally becoming extinct as more arid conditions favoured the emerging dinosauromorphs that were to take over the role as megaherbivores in Late Triassic ecosystems.

“Locked In Time” Unlocks the Lives of Long Extinct Animals

By |2025-04-29T09:37:21+01:00May 13th, 2021|Categories: Book Reviews, Dinosaur Fans, Famous Figures, Main Page, Press Releases|0 Comments

Twelve thousand years ago two, adult bull, Columbian mammoths fought an epic duel on the Nebraskan plains. There was to be no winner, both animals died a slow and agonising death as their massive tusks became entangled and these behemoths could not separate. In 1962, surveyors discovered their tomb, the two combatants still locked together face to face. A remarkable fossil discovery providing an unprecedented insight into a single event that took place thousands of years ago. Dr Dean Lomax documents this astonishing fossil find in a new book that looks at fifty snapshots in deep time recording the lives and behaviours of animals etched into prehistory.

Locked in Time by Dean Lomax and illustrated by Bob Nicholls

Stunning Illustrations by Bob Nicholls

Dr Dean Lomax (University of Manchester), examines some of the most extraordinary fossils ever found in five carefully crafted chapters. The book entitled “Locked in Time” provides an insight into the lives, activities and behaviours of long extinct creatures as revealed in a remarkable fossil record. Renowned palaeoartist Bob Nicholls provides the sumptuous illustrations that brings Dean’s narrative to life.

From Burrowing Giant Ground Sloths to Fighting Dinosaurs

From dinosaurs fighting to their deaths (as depicted on the front cover), the last ever journey of an ancient horseshoe crab, mating insects trapped in time, to giant burrowing ground sloths, this book takes readers on a global journey deep into our planet’s fascinating past. Aimed at the general reader, “Locked in Time” offers an unprecedented glimpse into the real-life behaviours of prehistoric animals.

Ten Years in the Making

“Locked in Time” takes the reader on a journey across continents and through millions of years of Earth’s history. It has been meticulously researched and Dr Lomax is a most eloquent and well-informed tour guide.

When asked what inspired him to compile such a fascinating insight into life in the past, Dean responded:

“I’ve spent more than a decade researching and writing Locked in Time, having been inspired by an incredible Jurassic fossil I first saw in 2008. My hope is that the book, and the fossils therein, will encourage you to look at fossils and prehistoric life with an entirely new perspective, helping to show that these once living, breathing animals were as real as you and me.”

PNSO to Add a New Helicoprion Model

By |2024-05-26T09:28:06+01:00May 11th, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Those talented model makers at PNSO are to add a Helicoprion model to their mid-sized range of prehistoric animal figures. Later this year, the PNSO Haylee the Helicoprion will be in stock at Everything Dinosaur. Team members at Everything Dinosaur are delighted to announce the addition of a replica of a shark-like marine predator from the Permian.

This figure is likely to be available later in the summer (2021).

PNSO Haylee the Helicoprion
PNSO have added a replica of the Permian marine predator Helicoprion to their mid-size model range.

Haylee the Helicoprion

This PNSO prehistoric fish is number 43 in their mid-size model range and what a spectacular figure it is. Almost all we know about this large, marine predator are from the remarkable fossilised “tooth whorls”. These fish are members of the Eugeneodontida, an Order of cartilaginous fish, a poorly known group of extinct fish that are very distantly related to the Chimaeriformes, which themselves evolved around 400 million years ago, but these days are largely confined to deep water.

The actual body shape of Helicoprion is not known. PNSO have chosen to give their model the appearance of a sleek, fast swimming predator with a body shape and fin proportions similar to that seen in extant Porbeagle sharks (Lamna genus).

PNSO Haylee the Helicoprion model measurements
The model measures 21 cm in length and from the base of the tail fluke to the top of the dorsal fin of the Helicoprion is 7.5 cm.

Visit the Everything Dinosaur website: Prehistoric Animal Figures and Dinosaur Toys.

Measuring 21 cm in Length

The prehistoric fish model measures approximately 21 cm in length. PNSO do not provide a scale for their mid-size figures and Everything Dinosaur team members are a little stumped themselves as to what scale to suggest. With only the tooth whorls to study, the body shape and the size of these extinct hunters can only be inferred. As the largest tooth whorls known to science are around 40 cm in diameter, the body length of Helicoprion has been estimated to have been anywhere between 5 to 8 metres in length. The fact sheet that we will supply with sales of this figure will provide more information.

An Articulated Jaw and Stunning Green Eyes

That famous tooth whorl has been skilfully recreated in the PNSO Helicoprion figure and it is articulated. The stunning green eyes are similar to those of the deep sea Rabbit Fish (Chimaera monstrosa) to which Helicoprion was very distantly related.

Haylee the Helicoprion and Patton the Megalodon

The PNSO Haylee the Helicoprion joins the Megalodon model in the PNSO mid-size model range. The Megalodon model was introduced back in 2019, if these images are anything to go by the Helicoprion figure has been worth the wait.

Rare Rebor Models in Stock

By |2024-05-26T09:23:38+01:00May 9th, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur News and Updates, Everything Dinosaur Newsletters, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Subscribers to Everything Dinosaur’s customer newsletter were tipped off about stock of rare Rebor prehistoric animal figures and replicas. Limited-edition and special production runs of several Rebor figures had been organised and once the current stock had sold, many of these items would not be available again.

Rare Rebor Models

For example, the science fiction/fantasy Rebor Oddities Specimen: G-2016 embryo in resinite has been limited to a single production run and only 500 of these amazing replicas have been made.

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented:

“These Rebor G-2016 figures are beautifully crafted science fiction replicas with engraved text and science fiction symbols and they would be a highlight in any model collection. We have had lots of sales in Asia, but we wanted to hold a few back so we could offer these limited edition figures to our newsletter subscribers.”

Compsognathus longipes Dissection Figures

Rebor has built a deserved reputation for their innovative and unusual figures. As well as introducing the embryos, Rebor commissioned a special production run of life-size Compsognathus dissection specimens. Two versions were produced, one of them being the limited edition, highly stylised “Victorian Goth” specimen. Only 500 of these figures have been made, the vast majority of these were pre-sold, however, Everything Dinosaur has held a small number in reserve so we could offer these figures to our subscribers.

Rebor Abelisaurid Dinosaurs

Rebor is best known for their dinosaur models. Team members thought that they could not feature Rebor without at least drawing attention to a couple of dinosaurs and with the arrival this week of the abelisaurid pair Carnotaurus and Ekrixinatosaurus it seemed fitting to include these 1:35 scale replicas in our newsletter offering. The Rebor Carnotaurus rex “Crimson King Requiem” is a reference to the apex predator position held in southern hemisphere Late Cretaceous palaeoenvironments by members of the Abelisauridae, including Carnotaurus sastrei.

The 1:35 scale model of Ekrixinatosaurus (E. novasi) represents another South American abelisaurid. Named and described in 2004, palaeontologists are uncertain as to the size of this “bruiser”. The skull was disproportionately large and this dinosaur was particularly robust – very helpful if you coexisted with Giganotosaurus, one of the largest theropod dinosaurs known to science.

CollectA Megalosaurus in Ambush Reviewed

By |2024-05-26T08:56:07+01:00May 2nd, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases, Product Reviews|0 Comments

Megalosaurus was scientifically described way back in 1824 (Buckland), over the last 197 years, this dinosaur has had a number of makeovers. The lizard-like quadruped as depicted in the world-famous Crystal Palace dinosaur sculptures may be long gone, but its appearance is still debated. For example, did theropod dinosaurs have lips? The new CollectA Age of Dinosaurs Popular Megalosaurus model provides collectors with a very modern interpretation of “Big Lizard”, lips are included along with a plume of bristles beginning at the back of the hips and running about a quarter of the tail’s length.

CollectA Age of Dinosaurs Popular Megalosaurus

Part of the extensive CollectA Age of Dinosaurs Popular range, this new for 2021 Megalosaurus replica replaces an early CollectA Megalosaurus that was first introduced around eleven years ago. The “kangaroo posture” has gone, the hands are not pronated and the feet have been correctly proportioned.

The model is more scientifically accurate and it has been posed “mouth shut” a more natural pose than the previous figure with its large, open jaws revealing a set of beautiful but unrealistic white teeth.

The original CollectA Megalosaurus that was introduced in 2010. This original Megalosaurus figure from CollectA has been replaced with a more scientifically accurate model.

Iconic Dinosaur

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented:

“We think William Buckland, Richard Owen and indeed Robert Plot who first published a description of a Megalosaurus fossil bone back in 1676, would be most impressed with this figure. They probably would not recognise this interpretation. It reflects how far our understanding of the Dinosauria has changed.”

That Knowing Expression

The design team at CollectA have given their new Megalosaurus model lips. This is in line with some of the latest scientific thinking. As a result, our Megalosaurus in ambush has an intriguing expression on its carefully painted face. It’s as if it knows something we don’t!

Team members at Everything Dinosaur have nicknamed this dinosaur model “Mona Lisa Megalosaurus” – our tribute to the enigmatic look on this little figure.

Skilfully Painted

Measuring around 16 cm in length, this is a skilfully painted model. The obvious counter shading on the previous model has gone, being replaced with more muted and subtle tones. The dark spots and stripes on the body and on the anterior portion of the muzzle contrast nicely with the underlying tan colouration.

The new CollectA Megalosaurus dinosaur model has been given a short row of bristles, a nod perhaps to megalosaur fossil material from Germany that reputedly showed evidence of an integumentary covering: Megalosaurs join the “Tufty” club.

T. rex Exhibition to Open in the UK

By |2024-05-25T22:29:08+01:00April 29th, 2021|Categories: Dinosaur Fans, Main Page, Photos/Pictures of Fossils, Press Releases|0 Comments

Wollaton Hall Natural History Museum (Nottingham) is to play host to a T. rex exhibition that sets out to dispel some of the myths surrounding this apex Late Cretaceous predator. Thanks to the latest research and the discovery of a T. rex specimen in the Badlands of Montana in 2018, the exhibition depicts the “King of the Tyrant Lizards” as a real animal, a highly successful predator and possibly a social hunter too.

Wollaton Hall Natural History Museum T rex exhibition
A T. rex exhibition is coming to Wollaton Hall Natural History Museum in the summer of 2021.

“Titus: T. rex is King”

The exhibition entitled “Titus: T. rex is King” opens on Sunday 4th July 2021 and will run until August 2022, giving visitors the opportunity to view a real Tyrannosaurus rex specimen, the actual fossilised bones and teeth of arguably, the most famous dinosaur of all.

Digital and Immersive Displays

The fossilised remains of “Titus” – the nickname given to this particular specimen, will be revealed for the first time at Wollaton Hall, the venue that hosted the extremely successful “Dinosaurs of China” exhibition in 2017.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore its life and environment using digital and interactive virtual media displays that tell the tale of the dinosaur’s discovery, subsequent excavation and the painstaking process of piecing together the life story of an iconic dinosaur.

A Rare Opportunity to See Actual T. rex Fossil Bones

The “Titus: T. rex is King” exhibition provides a rare opportunity to see real T. rex fossil bones up close. The media release sent to Everything Dinosaur states that this is the first real Tyrannosaurus rex fossil skeleton to be exhibited in England for over a century. We are not entirely sure how valid that claim is, as some of the original Barnum Brown T. rex fossils may have been on display at the British Museum (later the Natural History Museum), at some time over the last 100 years.

T. rex fossils have been exhibited in Scotland recently. In 2019, specimen number RGM 792.000, the Tyrannosaurus rex known as “Trix” was put on temporary display in Glasgow. Nevertheless, the Wollaton Hall exhibition all 4,000 square feet of it, will permit visitors to investigate and to try and solve some of the mysteries surrounding this fearsome dinosaur.

Feathers or Scales?

Commenting on the significance of “Titus: T. rex is King”, renowned palaeontologist Dr David Hone (Senior Lecturer in Zoology at Queen Mary, University of London) and member of the scientific team tasked with bringing “Titus” back to life stated:

“Visitors will be able to explore the world of Titus and take a closer look at his particular features – his crushing bite, incredible eyesight and keen sense of smell, air-filled bones, weight, size and speed. And then look more closely at his make-up of muscle and tissue, with 3D scans of his bones to examine and handle – and try to decide if in fact he was covered in scales or feathers or both.”

Rebor King T. rex Data Sheet
Tyrannosaurus rex has fascinated people since it was first scientifically described in 1905 (Osborn), visitors to Wollaton Hall from July 4th will have the rare chance to view actual T. rex fossil bones and to review some of the latest research on this iconic dinosaur.  Picture credit: Everything Dinosaur.

Arts Council England Funding

The Arts Council England provided the initial funding of £250,000 to secure the exhibition for Nottingham and the UK, allowing Wollaton Hall Natural History Museum to assemble a unique, expert team of palaeontologists, conservationists, and digital display specialists to tell the story of T. rex and the ancient landscape of North America 66 million years ago.

Rachael Evans, Museums Development Manager at Nottingham City Museums explained:

“Coming face to face with an actual T. rex is an experience very few in the world can claim. Even in skeleton form, Titus’ power and presence is unmistakable – we have had to dedicate the largest room at Wollaton Hall just to him alone! Titus T. rex is King will take you on a truly unique journey discovering all there is to know about this dinosaur – the largest predator in its ecosystem. The sheer size and scale of the skeleton takes your breath away. It is a truly an amazing discovery and an absolute must-see.”

Tickets on Sale Now (April 2021)

Tickets for “TITUS T. REX IS KING” are on sale now, set at £12.00 for an adult, £8.00 for a child (under 16 years), students and concessions, £32.00 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children under 16 years) and under 3s and carers have no entry fees to pay. Booking fees and car parking charges apply. With COVID-19 safety measures in place, booking in advance is essential.

Please note, this exhibition has now closed.

A New PNSO Paul the Allosaurus Figure

By |2024-05-25T18:21:07+01:00April 27th, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur News and Updates, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Everything Dinosaur can confirm that PNSO intend to introduce a model of an Allosaurus into their mid-size model range. We expect this exciting new dinosaur, an iconic member of the dinosaur-dominated biota of the Morrison Formation to be in stock at Everything Dinosaur in the summer (2021).

PNSO Paul the Allosaurus

Paul the Allosaurus

This new theropod replica is one of a plethora of model introductions that PNSO and Everything Dinosaur have announced over the last few months. Like the majority of the PNSO theropod figures in the larger ranges, this Allosaurus model will also have an articulated lower jaw.

PNSO Paul the Allosaurus dinosaur model
The new for 2021 PNSO Paul the Allosaurus dinosaur model has an articulated lower jaw, just like the majority of the theropod figures that PNSO have produced in the larger size model series.

Three Species in the Genus

The genus was first erected in 1877 (Othniel Charles Marsh), one of the many dinosaur genera named as fossils from the Morrison Formation of the western United States began to be uncovered and sent east for study. Most palaeontologists recognise three species in this genus, the most recent to be named Allosaurus jimmadseni was only formally scientifically described last year (2020). To read more about A. jimmadseni: A New Species of Allosaurus (A. jimmadseni).

Bilateral Crests Suggest Allosaurus jimmadseni

The picture (above) shows a close view of the head of the new PNSO Allosaurus model. A pair of bilateral nasal crests that run from the nostrils to the eye socket (orbit) can clearly be seen. This feature is absent in Allosaurus fragilis and since PNSO intended to introduce this model to celebrate the dinosaurs of the Morrison Formation, we have concluded that this figure is intended to represent Allosaurus jimmadseni.

PNSO Paul the Allosaurus dinosaur model
The new for 2021 PNSO Allosaurus replica (Paul the Allosaurus). The two bilateral crests that run from just above the eye socket (orbit) and down the snout indicate that this PNSO figure might be a replica of the recently named and described Allosaurus jimmadseni.

Paul the Allosaurus Model Measurements

Dinosaur model fans and collectors like to know about the size of any new figures and details of any potential scale. Although PNSO do not declare a scale for their model in the mid-size model range, the figure does measure 25 cm long and a potential scale can be calculated. For example, if the new PNSO Allosaurus is indeed a replica of A. jimmadseni, then if this dinosaur was around 8 metres in length, this suggests a scale of approximately 1:32.

PNSO Paul the Allosaurus dinosaur model measurements
The PNSO Paul the Allosaurus measures 25 cm long and it has a height of approximately 9 cm. Based on an Allosaurus fragilis being around 12 metres in length, team members at Everything Dinosaur estimate this model is in approximately 1:48 scale. However, should this model represent Allosaurus jimmadseni, then the scale would be different. The exact size of A. jimmadseni is not known but at an estimated 8 metres long, the PNSO figure would represent a dinosaur in 1:32 scale.

Checking on Availability

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur confirmed that there had been a meeting about PNSO yesterday but when Allosaurus would be in stock had not yet been confirmed. Team members anticipate that Paul the Allosaurus should be available in the summer (2021), but they were currently checking to see if more information could be provided.

As part of our commitment to education and science outreach activities, team members at Everything Dinosaur have been busy amending and updating information boards for a UK-based exhibitions company.

One of the many dinosaurs that we have been working on is Pachycephalosaurus (P. wyomingensis).

The recently announced Austin the Pachycephalosaurus (PNSO), is due to be in stock at Everything Dinosaur later this year. The display boards we have been working on have to be finished in just a few days so they can be produced in time for outdoor events that are due to start in the UK next month (late May 2021).

Focusing on the Cranium and Taxonomy

The information we have provided to the exhibitions company focuses on the story of this dinosaur’s discovery and looks at some of the theories that have been proposed to explain the very thick skull bones, which in some specimens are more than 25 cm thick.

We have also provided information on Dracorex and Stygimoloch in a bid to explain that many palaeontologists do not think that these genera are valid. It is thought that Dracorex and Stygimoloch may represent juvenile specimens of P. wyomingensis.

PNSO to Introduce a New Yutyrannus Model

By |2024-05-25T14:49:26+01:00April 23rd, 2021|Categories: Adobe CS5, Dinosaur Fans, Everything Dinosaur News and Updates, Everything Dinosaur Products, Main Page, Photos of Everything Dinosaur Products, Press Releases|0 Comments

Today, might be St George’s Day (April 23rd), but team members at Everything Dinosaur have stopped all talk of “dragons” to post up news about a replica of the “feathered tyrant” being introduced by PNSO.

Yinqi the Yutyrannus (Y. huali) model in the PNSO mid-size model range has been announced in a joint release by Everything Dinosaur and representatives of the Chinese company.

The “Feathered Tyrant”

Known from three, nearly complete specimens found in Lower Cretaceous sediments in Liaoning Province, north-eastern China, Yutyrannus (Y. huali) translates as “beautiful, feathered tyrant”. Regarded as a basal member of the Tyrannosauroidea (primitive member of the tyrannosaur lineage), some of the fossilised feathers are more than fifteen cm long, demonstrating that even some extremely large theropods were feathered.

The model measures around 25.5 cm long and the highest part of the raised tail is 12.3 cm off the ground. This is a beautifully detailed dinosaur model and a welcome addition to the PNSO mid-size model range.

The PNSO Yinqi the Yutyrannus will be available from Everything Dinosaur in the summer (estimated around July 2021).

With an Articulated Lower Jaw

The new PNSO tyrannosaur replica joins versions of Tyrannosaurus rex and Qianzhousaurus (Q. sinensis) in PNSO’s tyrannosaur range (mid-size models and larger). Just like the original “Wilson” the T. rex and A-Shu the Qianzhousaurus, Yinqi the Yutyrannus will have an articulated lower jaw.

Celebrating the Jehol Biota

The introduction of this new figure (summer 2021), continues the trend whereby the Chinese manufacturer celebrates the dinosaur fauna associated with a specific geological formation. In this case, it is the Yixian Formation that forms one of the constituents of the famous Jehol biota.

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur commented:

“PNSO have ambitious production plans for quarter 2 and 3 of 2021. We at Everything Dinosaur know what’s coming and we think dinosaur fans and model collectors are going to be enthralled with PNSO’s product offerings.”
