It is going to be a busy few weeks at Everything Dinosaur! Sue and Mike are preparing for the arrival of several shipments of prehistoric animal models. With the festive season fast approaching, there is plenty to do. However, there is always time to put the kettle on and enjoy a well-earned brew!

New Dinosaur Models Arriving Soon

Exciting deliveries from Haolonggood, Beasts of the Mesozoic and Nanmu Studio are expected over the next few weeks. These shipments will help Everything Dinosaur prepare for the busy festive season shopping period. There will be lots of boxes to unpack, models to check and new stock to organise. Furthermore, the Everything Dinosaur team will be working hard to ensure that customer orders are packed and despatched as quickly as possible.

Our warehouse gets chilly.  Furthermore, we work long hours. However, we try and make time for a cheering cuppa.

Everything Dinosaur customer service reputation is extremely good.  However, even the best companies can sometimes make small mistakes.  For example, even after more than twenty years in business, things do not quite go to plan.

Recently, Mike was helping Sue load customer parcels onto the various courier vehicles ready for despatch to customers. However, in a moment of misplaced confidence, he handed a batch of parcels to the wrong courier.

Thankfully, Sue spotted the mistake. As a result, every parcel was transferred to the correct courier and all customer deliveries continued as planned.

Although no customers were affected, the incident inspired a little office humour. We dug out one of our old “Site Safety” signs and reset the counter.  As the incident safety sign notes – Mike’s embarrassment level was high!

Number of Days Since a Courier Collection Incident: Zero

Running a business means Mike and Sue remain directly involved in packing and dispatching customer orders every single day. While occasional mistakes can happen, we always double-check our work and act quickly whenever something needs correcting. Consequently, our customers continue to receive the high standard of service they expect from Everything Dinosaur.

The incident also reminded us why teamwork matters so much. Mike may have been responsible for the mix-up, but Sue’s careful eye ensured that every parcel reached the correct courier.

The countdown has almost ticked down to zero. Everything Dinosaur ready for DinoCon is no longer just a plan – it is now a reality. Sue has completed the final preparations, and we are looking forward to welcoming collectors, dinosaur enthusiasts and families to DinoCon 2026 this weekend.

As always, Sue has been brilliant at packing up all the prehistoric animal models ready for our sales table.  In addition, she has made sure that all the models customers asked to be reserved for them have been set aside in separate boxes.  Everything is packed and ready to load.

Today marks a very special milestone for us. Everything Dinosaur has now published 7,500 blog posts. We would like to celebrate this achievement by thanking everyone who has supported our blog over the years. We have been writing Everything Dinosaur blog posts for nearly twenty years.

Our first blog article was published on 27th May 2007. Since then, we have tried to share a new post every single day. That commitment has never changed. Every article reflects our passion for dinosaurs, prehistoric animals, fossils and the remarkable story of life on Earth.

From the beginning, our aim has been simple. We wanted to make palaeontology accessible to everyone. Therefore, we write using clear language and avoid unnecessary scientific jargon whenever possible. We want our articles to be useful to teachers, students, families, collectors and anyone with an interest in prehistoric life.

Celebrating 7,500 Everything Dinosaur Blog Posts

Over the last nineteen years, we have covered thousands of fossil discoveries. We have reported on newly named species. We have explained scientific research. In addition, we have shared museum visits, school projects, model reviews and behind-the-scenes stories from Everything Dinosaur.

As palaeontology has evolved, so has our blog. New technologies have transformed research. Fresh discoveries continue to reshape our understanding of prehistoric animals. Consequently, there has never been a better time to write about this fascinating subject.

However, none of this would have been possible without our readers.

Every comment, email and question has encouraged us to keep writing. Furthermore, many of our articles have been inspired by the curiosity of our readers and customers. We greatly value every suggestion and every conversation.

Ironically, one of our first blog posts in May 2007 concerned our thoughts on whether we should manufacturer our own range of dinosaur models.  Today, the Everything Dinosaur Evolution brand goes from strength to strength.  We have introduced a scientifically accurate, 1:33 scale Tyrannosaurus rex, and we are currently working on a Hell Creek Triceratops.
