Time to unbox history!  The Everything Dinosaur Evolution T. rex dinosaur model has unique and innovative packaging. What’s more the tray that the model is packed in is fully compostable.  In addition, the cardboard packaging can be recycled.  We are on a journey to change the way prehistoric animal models are packaged.  No more single-use plastic bags, no more plastic trays.  In addition, our Tyrannosaurus rex is the first dinosaur model in the world to have a digital product passport.

It’s Time to Unbox History

Today in Geneva, the United Nations meet to tackle plastic waste. While they debate, we act. Our plan is to package our range of scientifically accurate models without single-use plastic.  Indeed, we want to stop using all forms of rigid plastic packaging such as trays and inserts.  Our Tyrannosaurus rex comes in a fully compostable tray.  After all, history shouldn’t cost the Earth!

A Dinosaur with a Digital Product Passport

We’re also proud to launch what we believe is a world-first digital product passport for a dinosaur model, giving you details about design, science, and sustainability at your fingertips. A digital product passport (DPP) links a digital record to a physical, consumable product, detailing its lifecycle, manufacture, materials and environmental impact.  This technology is being rolled out across Europe.  Users will be able to access our dinosaur model’s DPP by scanning a smart QR code on the box.  In addition, a second smart QR code can be found on the collector card envelope inside the box.  The DPP provides transparency for customers. Furthermore, it supports the circular economy.  One day, all dinosaur models will require a digital product passport.

Great care and attention have been put into the design of the Everything Dinosaur Evolution T. rex packaging.
