There are over 25,000 described species of trilobites and although entirely marine (as far as we know), they evolved into a myriad of forms. Many of the beautiful, full-colour photographs in the book show fossils from the author’s own extensive collection.
Andy Secher is a field associate in palaeontology at the prestigious American Museum of Natural History (New York). His own private collection comprises more than 4,000 trilobite specimens.
