An Exclusive Papo Kronosaurus Video Review

Papo Kronosaurus

The Papo Kronosaurus is the second marine reptile figure to be introduced this year by Papo. It follows the Papo Mosasaurus figure that was introduced in the early spring. Both figures have articulated jaws and the Papo Mosasaurus will briefly feature in the Kronosaurus YouTube short.

Everything Dinosaur stocks a wide variety of Papo prehistoric animal figures. The Papo range, named “Les Dinosaures” has grown to incorporate dozens of dinosaurs, pterosaurs, prehistoric mammals and marine reptiles.

A spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur stated that the stock footage had already been shot. A script for the voice over recording had been prepared. The text was due to be revised and finalised. Haolonggood Models and Everything Dinosaur

Everything Dinosaur team members have created a short video that explains the new strategic relationship with Haolonggood and Haolonggood models. The short video (it is a little over six minutes long), explains that from the middle of September (September 2023), Haolonggood dinosaur figures will be available from Everything Dinosaur.

Haolonggood Models

The YouTube video includes a formal announcement about the new business relationship. An official certificate is shown. This was presented to the UK-based company by the Chinese manufacturer. The narrator explains that the Haolonggood models will appear on the Everything Dinosaur website next month (September 2023).

Shipment of Haolonggood Figures Expected in September

A spokesperson confirmed that a shipment of Haolonggood figures was due to arrive at Felixstowe on the 8th of September. Nineteen different Haolonggood models were expected. Once these figures had been cleared by customs, the shipment will be put on a lorry and driven to the company’s Cheshire warehouse. These new and exciting dinosaur replicas should be available from Everything Dinosaur by the middle of September.

The List of Haolonggood Models Coming into Stock

Here is the full list of Haolonggood figures that are on the first shipment. The figures are the green Dicraeosaurus (Yunmi), Nasutoceratops (Huarong and Yanqing), plus the Ouranosaurus pair. Horned dinosaurs Pentaceratops (LiKui and LiouTang), with the Pachyrhinosaurus pair. Both Apatosaurus figures (ShiJing and HuangXin) are included. Other ornithischians include the two Tianzhenosaurus models and the grey and red Edmontonia figures. The stegosaur pair Wuerhosaurus (ShiYong and JiaoTing) will be joined by the two recently introduced Allosaurus models.

Rebor” Crimson King Requiem” Video Review

To celebrate the reintroduction of the Rebor Carnotaurus “Crimson King Requiem” model a short YouTube video has been created. The video highlights the articulated lower jaw and the flexible tail of the figure. In addition, the close-up shots allow viewers to see the detailed skin texture.

The Rebor Carnotaurus “Crimson King Requiem”

The Rebor Carnotaurus “Crimson King Requiem” was introduced in 2017. It replaced an earlier Rebor Carnotaurus “Crimson King”. The earlier figure was supplied with a lava field display base.

The photograph (above) shows the now retired Rebor Carnotaurus from 2017. It was supplied with a display base that was painted to give the impression of this dinosaur walking across a cooling lava field.

The 2021 Carnotaurus commemorates the retirement of the original “Crimson King” Carnotaurus.

Carnotaurus sastrei

Carnotaurus (C. sastrei) was formally named and described in 1985. Fossils of this large theropod had been found the previous year. The extensive skeletal material consisted of the anterior portion of a single individual animal estimated to measure around 7.5 to 8 metres in length. It was described by the late José Bonaparte.

Since the discovery of Carnotaurus, many more South American abelisaurids have been named and described.

Commenting on the video a spokesperson from Everything Dinosaur explained that the video was not an unboxing or model review.

The spokesperson added:

It is our intention to produce a wide variety of YouTube video content. We have plans for some brief videos, under a minute in length, as well as longer videos that provide more product information.”

Three New PNSO Tyrannosaurs

The latest Everything Dinosaur YouTube video features three PNSO tyrannosaurs. We make a short announcement confirming three, new for 2023 PNSO theropod figures are in stock. The video features Keynes the Lythronax and Cole the Daspletosaurus. The new T. rex figure Cameron also makes a brief appearance.

The Geological Age of the Three PNSO Tyrannosaurs

In this short video (less than a minute in length), we confirm that all three tyrannosaur figures are in stock. The product packaging is shown, and this helps viewers estimate the size of the models. Cameron the Tyrannosaurus rex is the largest. It is a 1/35th scale figure. PNSO has not declared a scale for the Daspletosaurus or the Lythronax.

In our pre-posting discussions with customers, we promised to add details about the dinosaur’s geological age in the video description. Although all three figures represent Late Cretaceous, North American tyrannosaurs, these dinosaurs lived at different times.

Lythronax (L. argestes) known from the Wahweap Formation (Utah) – early Campanian faunal stage of the Late Cretaceous (81.9 mya to 81.5 mya) the geologically oldest of the trio.
Daspletosaurus spp. known from several geological formations (northern United States and southern Canada) – middle Campanian faunal stage of the Late Cretaceous (77 mya to 75 mya).
Tyrannosaurus rex known from several formations (USA and Canada) – latest Maastrichtian faunal stage of the Late Cretaceous (68 mya to 66 mya) the geologically youngest of the three tyrannosaurs.

The Tyrannosaurinae

Daspletosaurus, Lythronax and T. rex are classified into the same tyrannosaurid subfamily, the Tyrannosaurinae. Lythronax is the geologically oldest member of the Tyrannosaurinae, whilst Tyrannosaurus rex is one of youngest.

Which Woolly Rhino Model do you Prefer?

The Papo Woolly Rhino was originally introduced back in 2013, it was launched at the same time as the Papo Carnotaurus figure. Whilst the Papo Carnotaurus is still in production, the Woolly Rhinoceros was withdrawn, and it went out of production. Papo reintroduced this figure this year (2023) it is the only prehistoric mammal to be added to the “Les Dinosaures” model range in 2023.

Shorts, or YouTube Shorts are easy to make and provide a quick way to engage your audience using video. They can be recorded straight from a smartphone if required. The video is less than sixty seconds in length and has a vertical format. They are great for getting across simple messages in an entertaining way.

Everything Dinosaur will post up in the near future a brief video that demonstrates how the new for 2023 Schleich Quetzalcoatlus wings work. Our plan is to produce a video short. It will be around 45 seconds long and the video will show how the Schleich Quetzalcoatlus can be posed either flying or resting.

The Schleich Quetzalcoatlus Wings

The new Schleich Quetzalcoatlus pterosaur model has jointed wings. There is a joint at each shoulder and a second joint where the manus (hand) on the pterosaur would have been. This permits collectors and fans of prehistoric animals to change the pose of their Quetzalcoatlus figure.

The Schleich model range consists of a wider selection of prehistoric animal figures. A further five new dinosaur models were added to this range at the beginning of the year. The models are hand-painted and great for robust, creative play. Many of the models have points of articulation. This is the first Schleich Quetzalcoatlus model to have articulated wings.

It has not happened overnight, but slowly and surely Everything Dinosaur has built an excellent reputation for customer service and support. This has been reflected in the company’s sales overseas.
