The First Proof of Concept Model for the New Everything Dinosaur Evolution Range
The journey towards the new for 2025 Everything Dinosaur Evolution T. rex model has been long. This model range has been years in development. Today, we take a look at an extremely important model. The first ever proof of concept figure we produced. This is a 3D printed figure made in collaboration with the engineering department at Liverpool John Moores University. The Everything Dinosaur proof of concept T. rex represents a milestone for us.
This model demonstrated that we had the ability to take a two-dimensional design and to create a data file enabling us to make scientifically accurate scale models.
A small but extremely accurate figure was the start of our journey. It demonstrated that we had proof of concept.
Recently, Mike from Everything Dinosaur made a YouTube short highlighting this remarkable figure.

The First Everything Dinosaur Proof of Concept Model
The proof of concept model was printed to demonstrate that the development processes that we had in place would work. It provided tangible evidence that we were capable of making dinosaur models.
From this proof of concept, we were able to design and develop EDE001 the first dinosaur model in the Everything Dinosaur Evolution model range.

Mike from Everything Dinosaur commented:
“Once we had successfully demonstrated proof of concept, we had the confidence to continue our development plans. Our thanks to the wonderful engineering team at Liverpool John Moores University. Without their technical input we would never have been able to introduce our own range of prehistoric animal models.”
