Triceratops Model in a Video Review
One of the most striking models of Triceratops currently available is the colourful Triceratops replica which forms part of the Carnegie Collectibles model range (Safari Ltd). A few weeks ago team members at Everything Dinosaur asked for suggestions as to which models the company should make video reviews of. The new Wild Dinos Brachiosaurus and the Toob of Feathered Dinosaurs (both made by Safari Ltd), were reviewed recently and now we can add a review of this Triceratops to our video selection.

In this short video (4 minutes and 45 seconds), we discuss the colouration and comment on the anatomical accuracy of this Triceratops dinosaur model.

This is a very popular 1:45 scale dinosaur model, a replica of one of the most famous of all the Chasmosaurinae.

The very last of the ceratopsians seem to have been the long-frilled types, this includes one of the biggest and certainly, one of the best known – Triceratops.
When is the carnegie concavenator being available by there ? It’s my most anticipated release for 2013.Ah a question . Is the new Safari elasmosaurus a Bremen figure ?
Thanks.
Carnegie Concavenator is coming in to Everything Dinosaur some time late next month, we can email you when it arrives and put one aside for you.
A bendy figure ,sorry
Although Elasmosaurus genera have more bones in their necks than any other vertebrate (we think), their necks were not all that flexible. The Wild Safari Dinos Elasmosaurus figure which is coming in late next month is an accurate representation, the neck does not bend very much at all. In this way it is different from earlier Elasmosaurus models such as the Schleich Elamosaurus that was retired around five years ago.
Hello! I’m currently making a movie and we’re building a full scale Velociraptor model (about 2ft tall and 6ft long). I was wondering if you’d like to feature a video of the production process on your blog.
We have sent an email to you with some further information, happy to oblige you, good luck with the project.
Thank you Mike. Keep up the great work on your dino site.
The blog is very much a team effort and we thank you for your kind words.
I don’t know if Wikipedia is very fiable, but it says that they got plans for a Carnegie Kosmoceratops in 2014.It’s strange because we’re in April,it’s too early for revelations of models. Is that true? Please, answer me.Thanks so much, really.
Juan Andrés .
We are aware of the Wikipedia article, we work closely with Safari Ltd and indeed we were emailing them today some information, however, as I am sure you can understand we cannot confirm or deny any such information published. We don’t comment on any potential new releases until we are permitted to do so by the manufacturer concerned. I suggest you continue to read this blog for official updates.
